Volunteer Position Description
July/August
Volunteers are needed to organize donations and assist on the day of the fair.
Donations are appreciated as well. A $20 donation could purchase school supplies for 1 Moulton student.
General Expectations
• Follow the dress code outlined in the procedures and expectations document
• Wear the nametag provided and sign in at designated area upon arrival
• Remain respectful and courteous to all staff, volunteers, children, and youth encountered
• Restrict the use of technological devices while volunteering unless pre-approved (i.e. iPod, camera)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prep responsibilities
- Work various areas (organize donations, make signs, trash clean-up, etc.) as assigned
- Day of responsibilities
- Help with set-up and tear-down
- Work various stations (food, games, medical/volunteer/information check-in) as assigned
- Perform other duties as requested
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to interact with diverse populations
- Able to stand and be outdoors for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing between 10-25 pounds

- Maintain confidentiality regarding participant and program information at all times

Screening
All volunteers are required to complete a Volunteer Screening Form before volunteering at CFUM.
